The Big Freeze

We don't let a bit of cold weather get in the way of Joint Repair! Tasked with fixing a stretch of road on the Isle of Skye for Transerv on behalf of Transport Scotland one of our crews excelled themselves with mobilising from Devon, to Skye, carrying out the works and back again during one of the worst weather spells in recent history!

Ultrajoint on the A1


Working for Aone+ we have just installed Ultrajoint to a 10Km Stretch of the A1. Working with one crew we finished installation in 3 nights - one night quicker and with half the crew's of alternative systems!! (We saw the original gant chart....)

High Energy Car Park Markings

LMS Highways have just finished a large car park re-lining job at the request of EDF Energy at their head quaters in Exeter. The project envolved remarking over 350 car bays and the new isntallation of safety walkways and pedestrian crossings.

As the site is also home to their call centre working split shifts access to the car park was restricted to weekends, so we had 3 crews working rotating shifts over 3 weekends! Many Thanks to all the crews envolved.

M271 Concrete Carriageway Repairs

LMS Highways are working hard to meet a tight timescale on a project involving concrete repair, joint sealing and anti-skid works. We have been asked to specify, supply and install a range of concrete solutions to repair sections on the M271 for the Managing Area Contractor of behalf of the Highways Agency

Schools Out for the Summer

We're in the middle of the school holidays, in the middle of August and its raining! I must be the only person in the country that's happy about that. We're currently well underway with a programme of school refurbishments in Exeter and having completed all the outside sports markings we have moved indoors to carry out repairs, sand and seal and re marking to 4 wood floor sports halls.

Bath and NE Somerset Road Markings

LMS Highways is formed!

LMS Highways has been formed by the merger of Line Marking Services, RT Roadmarkings and Crackseal Ltd. Founded in 2005, Crackseal specialises in fretted joint repair and specialist overbanding. Best known for their Joint Repair solutions, they combine highways expertise and a fast, efficient end to end service to help clients across the United Kingdom achieve a reduction of through life carriageway maintenance costs.

By combining the three brands together we are able to provide a "one stop shop" for road repair; covering analysis, design, repair and also reinstatement of markings and road studs.
